4. Data controller

5. What this site collects

This site has no account or contact form. Only the domain check tool offers, optionally, to send you a report by email (see 5a). The site uses Plausible, a cookieless audience measurement tool, to count visits: pages viewed, where visitors come from, type of device. These figures help us understand what is read, not to identify you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how our site is used.

Technical server logs (IP address, date, page requested, browser) are kept by the host for security and troubleshooting, then deleted after about ten days.

Fonts are served from this domain (hellofluenzr.com): no request is sent to a third-party font service.

5a. Domain check

The tool on the /diagnostic page queries public DNS from your browser, through the DNS-over-HTTPS resolvers of Cloudflare and, if that fails, Google. The domain name you enter and your IP address are therefore passed to them, as with any DNS query. This site neither receives nor keeps the domain you enter during the analysis.

Email report and alert (both optional). If you enter your email address below the result, the domain name and the address are sent to our servers, which repeat the DNS analysis and email you the full report. If you tick the alert box, the alert is only switched on after you click a confirmation link included in the report (with no click within 7 days, the request is deleted); we then keep your address and that domain for the sole purpose of rechecking it every week and writing to you only if its protection weakens (legal basis: your consent). Without the box ticked, the address is used only to send the one-off report and is not kept. Retention: 12 months at most, then automatic deletion. Every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link, which deletes your data immediately. Only one report is sent per address, per domain and per day.

6. When you click a sign-up button

The sign-up and log-in buttons lead to the FluenzR application, on the domain app.fluenzr.co, operated by the same company and covered by its own privacy policy, shown there. The information you enter is used to create and manage your account. It is not sold.

7. When you write to us

If you write to gilles@hellofluenzr.com, we keep the exchange for as long as needed to reply, then for the period required by commercial and accounting law if a contract results.

8. Why you received our email

If you have arrived here from an email we sent, we obtained your business contact details from public sources (your company’s website, professional networks, a database of business contacts), on the basis of our legitimate interest in contacting professionals whose activity matches what FluenzR offers. We only write to business addresses, about business matters. Every email states who we are and carries an unsubscribe link that works. If you unsubscribe, we keep your address on a suppression list, solely so that we do not write to you again.

9. Your rights

You may ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, and for its correction, erasure, restriction or portability. You may also object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest, in particular to prospecting. Write to gilles@hellofluenzr.com; we reply within one month. You may also complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
